Hello, my name is Lauren 🙋‍♀️

 

I’m 29 years young and have loved baking since I was a child, mainly learning from my grandma who was a pastry chef herself.

 

I have worked in catering and hospitality for over 12 years and have obtained my Level 3 Food Hygiene and Safety Certificates.

 

I began my baking business whilst on furlough during the pandemic in 2020. It was quite a challenge at times, especially trying to find ingredients such as baking powder and cocoa. But what started as making a few birthday cakes for friends and family has expanded rapidly, and I’m now proud to be known among local cake makers around Southampton. I am thrilled to be playing a small but important part in all sorts of celebrations and delight in creating bespoke designs.

My favourite part of running my own cake business is creating wedding cakes and receiving such beautiful feedback from my lovely couples.
